Some frequently asked questions we get at ChiroCare
Does Chiropractic hurt?
No, when a chiropractic adjustment is carried out by a registered chiropractor it should not hurt. Most people feel instant relief, although It is normal to get some post treatment soreness. Following post treatment advice will minimise this. If you receive adjustments off someone who is not registered it can be harmful and dangerous.
What is the cracking noise?
Popping and cracking noises during a chiropractic treatment are completely normal. There are a number of different theories to why there is a cracking noise. The main theory is that gas is being released from the synovial fluid that is in between our joints. This input into your nervous system can help remove any interference occurring, aiding your body to heal and function better.
I am pregnant, can I have chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is safe for people who are pregnant, right up to birth. It can actually encourage optimal foetal position and help with a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery for both mother and baby.

This means you have to have completed the 4 years integrated Masters of Chiropractic degree. All our chiropractors are registered with the GCC and their details can be found on the GCC website.
